About Philipp M. Sauerborn
Philipp Maria Sauerborn has been active in the field of international tax for many years. After positions at EY and PwC in Zurich, he moved to London in 2006, where he advised entrepreneurs on company formation in the United Kingdom at the tax consultancy St. Matthews.
In 2009, he was promoted to Managing Partner there and led the company's operations on site.
In 2011, Philipp Sauerborn moved to southern Europe to the Mediterranean island of Malta. There, in 2013, he founded the consultancy Dr. Werner & Partner, or DWP for short, together with business partner Dr. jur. Jörg Werner.
After many years of successful consulting, Philipp Sauerborn stepped back from day-to-day operations at the end of 2022. Subsequently, the consulting business was continued and expanded under new ownership and a new name – DW&P.
Today, DW&P is one of the most successful international tax consultancies with a focus on Malta, Dubai, Cyprus and Portugal.
Career & Milestones
